Biography
Dr. Henderson is an academic advisor for the University Advising Center and teaches courses for Arkansas State University’s First-Year Experience Program. She has worked in higher education for 10 years, with six of those years being at Arkansas State University. She has also worked for the Office of Finance and Administration and as a Graduate Assistant for Educational Leadership and the Center for Excellence in Education offices at Arkansas State University.
Dr. Henderson earned her BA in Psychology from Lyon College in 2007. She received her MA in Criminal Justice, MA in Sociology, Specialist in Community College Teaching, and obtained a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from ASU.
In her spare time, Dr. Henderson's hobbies include photography, going to the lake, and traveling. She loves spending time with her husband and their two boys.
