The previous edition of Inside A-State introduced new faculty members in seven colleges; as promised in that edition, today we highlight the faculty members in the two remaining colleges, which have the largest numbers of new appointments. The new faculty in Humanities and Social Sciences are: Dr. Jacob Ausderan, assistant professor of political science; Dr. Kellie Buford, assistant professor of history; Dr. Matthew Costello, assistant professor of sociology; Dr. Joseph Rukus, assistant professor in criminology; Dr. Edward Salo, assistant professor of history; Dr. Leslie McCallister, visiting interim department chair for criminology, sociology and geography; Airek Beauchamp, temporary instructor in English; Valarie Hoke, temporary instructor in Spanish; and Annette Zapata, temporary instructor in Spanish.

College of Nursing and Health Professions
Welcome to these new faculty members in the College of Nursing and Health Professions: Dr. Patricia Wilkerson, associate professor of social work; Dr. Christina Akbari, assistant professor of communication disorders; Hadyn Huckabee, assistant professor of health sciences; Dr. Junlin Zhang, assistant professor of physical therapy; Kacie Altom, temporary instructor in nursing; Joseph Carter, temporary instructor in medical imaging and radiation sciences; Karnilla Schingoethe-Lee, temporary instructor in social work; and Dr. Evelyn Taylor, temporary instructor in social work.

What Faculty Mean to A-State Students
The almost 40 new faculty members this semester join colleagues across campus who are dedicated to their students' success, year in and year out. MEASURE Magazine Highlights Research and Showcases Achievements
Response to the latest issue of MEASURE, the research publication and showcase of success at A-State, has been very good following distribution at the annual Faculty Conference. Rebekah Craig (pictured), director of research development, is executive editor, and contributing editors are Emily Devereaux and Cole Pace. Photography and videos (available by QR codes) are by Digital Creative Media, and graphic design is by Publications and Creative Services.
