Kaltura
Kaltura can be used to record audio, video and/or screen capture. The videos can be uploaded and managed from your Kaltura account.
How to claim your Kaltura account?
- Login into Canvas and go to Tools.
- Select Kaltura My Media LTI.
- Once you are redirected to the LTI Launch page. Select the link.
Kaltura My Media
My Media is where all of your Kaltura media is located.
Kaltura Media Gallery
Media Gallery is located within a course, where you can choose and post videos from your My Media collection to view in the context of the course.
A-State’s Kaltura MediaSpace
A-State’s Kaltura MediaSpace is where you can access Kaltura outside of Canvas.

Zoom
Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that can be utilized both synchronously and asynchronously. Zoom meetings can be launched from a browser, desktop client, or mobile application, with up to 300 participants. It is an essential tool for large/small sized teams, classrooms, different departments, faculty members etc.
How to claim your Zoom account?
Faculty, staff, and students can login through A-State’s SSO by going to astatecall.zoom.us.
Default meeting and recording settings
Default settings can be configured for meetings, including security, scheduling, etc. Meetings can be automatically recorded locally or to the Zoom cloud.

Respondus
Respondus LockDown Browser is a locked browser for use with quizzes in Canvas. It prevents you from printing, copying, going to another URL, or accessing other applications during an assessment. If a Canvas quiz requires that LockDown Browser be used, you will not be able to take the quiz with a standard web browser. LockDown Browser should only be used for taking Blackboard quizzes. It should not be used in other areas of Canvas.

- Windows: 2 GB RAM (A minimum 4gb of available RAM is necessary when using LockDown Browser to take an exam that also uses a webcam.)
- Mac: 2 GB RAM (A minimum 4gb of available RAM is necessary when using LockDown Browser to take an exam that also uses a webcam.)
Hard Disk Space
- Windows: 200 MB of free hard disk space
- Mac: 200 MB of free hard disk space
Browser Requirements
Lockdown Browser is a client application that is installed to a local computer. Both the Windows edition and the Mac edition of the browser are based on Chromium, Google's open-source framework. Students do NOT need Google's Chrome browser installed; nor will this version affect a Chrome browser that's already installed.
