The Faculty Achievement Awards Committee is responsible for proposing guidelines and procedures and selecting recipients of the faculty awards for teaching, research, and service.
Membership consists of a faculty member from each college, one department chair, one dean, and one community representative. These appointments are made on an annual basis by the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research in consultation with colleges. The Student Government Association will appoint one undergraduate student and the Graduate Student Council will appoint one graduate student to serve on this committee each year.
The committee reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research.
