College: Neil Griffin College of Business
Department: Information Technology & Business AnalyticsDescription
The Associate of Science in Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) program consists of courses that prepare graduates to manipulate computer systems, but also possess the critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills expected in today's competitive job market.
For many students, the AS in ISBA has served as a stepping stone toward four-year degrees, either in Information Technology or in other Business fields. For other students, this degree has opened the door to careers as technicians in businesses and other organizations around the region.
Coursework for the AS degree is intended to provide the student with an introduction to the various MIS technical areas necessary to enter employment at the operations level of information systems departments. In addition, the student receives a well-rounded general education and basic Business background.
