A Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife, Fisheries, and Conservation with an emphasis in Fisheries is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of fisheries management and conservation. This degree program emphasizes the study of aquatic ecosystems, fish biology and behavior, and the sustainable management of fish populations. Students will learn how to use ecological and biological data to inform fisheries management decisions, as well as develop an understanding of the social, economic, and political factors that influence fisheries management. This program includes hands-on training in techniques such as stream and lake surveys, and data analysis.
