About Us

The Welcome Ambassador organization is an affiliate of the Office of Admissions. Ambassadors serve as official campus hosts to prospective students and their families. The primary role of the Ambassador will be to give tours, assist in recruitment events and provide a welcoming environment and provide a welcoming environment to guests.

Campus visits are available for prospective students Monday-Thursday at 10:00 am and Friday at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. These campus visits include a presentation followed by a tour given by our ambassadors. Ambassadors will also assist at large-scale admissions events and any other event hosted by the Office of Admissions. These events could range from campus preview days to yield events.

Serving as an ambassador is a great opportunity and privilege. Students who serve as ambassadors get the chance to increase their self-confidence, polish their leadership skills and learn to better serve others. Ambassadors also learn more about A-State and make connections as they interact with faculty, staff, other ambassadors and students.
