A-State Announces Homecoming Court, Crowns King and Queen this week

JONESBORO- The 10-member Arkansas State University Homecoming Court was unveiled Monday night during the Student Activities Board's (SAB) Skate in the Stars. 

The Homecoming Court's five males and five females were nominated by various student organizations on campus. 

They were chosen by the student body during a vote that took place on Sept. 27. 

The nominees for Homecoming King are: 

  • Brock Ballard, a senior strategic communication major from Little Rock, who was nominated by Lambda Chi Alpha
  • Will Glass, a senior strategic communication major from Jonesboro, who was nominated by the Black Student Association 
  • Jackson Emery Richmond, a senior accounting major from Maumelle, who was nominated by Alpha Omicron Pi
  • Jonathan Schaufler, a senior nursing major from Salem, who was nominated by Phi Delta Theta
  • Parker St. Pierre, a junior finance major from Jonesboro, who was nominated by St. John Newman University Parish 

The nominees for Homecoming Queen are: 

  • Karli Barker, a senior health studies major from Jonesboro, who was nominated by Alpha Lambda Delta
  • Kinsey Carroll, a senior elementary education major from Germantown, Tenn, who was nominated by Alpha Omicron Pi
  • Kellie Dukes, a senior exercise science major from Marion, who was nominated by Arkansas State University Cheer
  • Rachel Mooneyham, a senior strategic communication major from Jonesboro, who was nominated by Alpha Gamma Delta
  • Amber Yates, a senior communication studies major from Salem, who was nominated by Phi Delta Theta 

The 10-member court will undergo an interview while the student body votes again on Thursday, Oct. 3, to select the Homecoming King and Queen.  

The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime of the Arkansas State Red Wolves versus South Alabama game this Saturday, Oct. 5.
