A-State College of Business Sponsors Economic Outlook Conference
JONESBORO, Ark. — An economic outlook conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at the Cooper Alumni Center, 2600 Alumni Boulevard, on the campus of Arkansas State University.
The conference is sponsored by A-State’s College of Business and hosted by the Center for Economic Education, the McAdams Frierson Chair of Bank Management, and the Delta Center for Economic Development, and is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is free with a $10 fee for lunch.
The conference is focusing on current economic and financial conditions and the outlook for the remainder of 2014 for Arkansas and the U.S. economy. It will conclude with a question and answer session following the presentations.
Speakers for the conference are Francis Scott, head trader at Vining-Sparks IBG; Michael Pakko, state economic forecaster at the Institute for Economic Advancement at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, and Gary A. Latanich, director of Arkansas State’s Center for Economic Education.
