A-State College of Media and Communication to Host 76th Annual Communications Day
JONESBORO, Ark. — Communication savvy high school students will showcase their individual talents in print, radio, television, social media, speech, advertising and public relations at the 76th Annual Communications Day, Saturday, March 1, at Arkansas State University.
The College of Media and Communication will feature more than 20 contests for aspiring media and communications professionals. Students planning to submit pre-produced entries have until Feb. 24 to enter. Pre-produced entries may be mailed to Communications Day Entries, P.O. Box 2160, State University, AR 72467. Participants may also submit their entries on YouTube or Vimeo.
Many of A-State’s media and communication students are volunteering their time and talents on Communications Day to assist with judging competitions and working with high school students entered in the competition.
Contests among high school students will begin at 9 a.m. in the Media and Communication Building. Competitors may sign in at 8 a.m.
