JONESBORO — A workshop that teaches teams how to be more productive is planned by Arkansas State University’s Delta Center for Economic Development, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 4. Following the initial session, the workshop is presented for four weeks, including Nov. 11, 18, and 25, from 1-4 p.m. at 5501 Krueger Drive.
“This program teaches how to make most of your skills and how to work with others to be more productive,” explained Leah Walters of the DCED. “It consists of 12 classroom hours and is designed to forge team identity, purpose and processes.”
Cost of the workshop is $329. A-State faculty and staff discounts are available by calling (870) 680-4383. Those interested in attending may also do so at AState.edu/DeltaCED.
Walters went on to say that new and existing team members will explore working with others and understanding personal styles and preferences, as well as effective communication; building healthy workplace relationships; managing time, priorities and projects; decision making and problem solving; team roles and responsibilities; and putting it all together for team success.
