A-State SBTDC Organizes Free Event To Help Businesses Access Capital, Loans
JONESBORO — The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) has partnered with the Delta Regional Authority, the U.S. Small Business Administration, A-State’s College of Business and the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce to offer an event to assist small businesses in acquiring funds for new ventures or expansion of existing business.
The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce building, 1709 E. Nettleton Avenue, Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, from 1-4 p.m. The event is free to the public.
Topics will cover federal and state business programs and services, available federal small business loan programs, and perspectives and tips from local community bank lenders. There will be an opportunity at the end of the program to network with representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Arkansas Capital Group, U.S. Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as well as many local banks.
