A-State to Host Reception for Online Graduates

JONESBORO – Graduates of Arkansas State University who earned degrees through the online program will be honored at a reception after the conclusion of the Saturday, Dec. 12, commencement ceremony in the Convocation Center at 217 Olympic Drive. The event, hosted by Academic Partnerships and the Alumni Association, starts at noon in the Cooper Alumni Center, 2600 Alumni Boulevard.
A-State’s online degree program allows students to access courses online at their convenience, complete an academic degree in the shortest possible time, learn online and receive personalized attention from a highly qualified faculty and take advantage of flexible payment options and financial aid.
One of the oldest online degree programs in Arkansas, A-State was selected No. 1 in the nation by
EducationResource.webs.com and on the Top 25 list of “Best Online MPA Accredited Degree Programs” in
MPADegree.org in the summer of 2014.
Editors of both online publications have compiled lists of the top-quality MPA programs that contain a strong blend of quality instruction and full accreditation. EducationResource.webs.com places Arkansas State in the top spot, while editors of MPADegree.org have A-State ranked 19th.
In addition, A-State’s College of Business offers an online MBA that is ranked as one of the nation’s top 15 by U.S. News and World Report the past four years. The most recent rankings moved Arkansas State up to 12th in the country.
Faculty credentials and skills are a major part of A-State’s high ranking for the online MBA. Arkansas State was ranked first in the nation by U.S. News for faculty credentials and training for the past two years.
Earning an online degree is equal to those earned by the more than 75,000 alumni of Arkansas State. An online degree is convenient and affordable, and allows students to achieve educational goals and pursue a college degree on their schedule.
