A-State to Welcome Mothers to Campus for Mom’s Day 2019
JONESBORO – Arkansas State University will welcome all mothers of Red Wolves students to campus the weekend of April 12-14, for Mom’s Day 2019. Highlighting the weekend events will be a tea at the Chancellor’s Residence, scheduled for Saturday, April 13.
The tea, hosted by Beth Damphousse, wife of A-State Chancellor Kelly Damphousse, is open to all mothers and mother-figures of A-State students. Guests at the tea will enjoy brunch, a photo booth, crafts, vendor booths and the naming of A-State’s Mom of the Year for 2019. The tea is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. until noon.
Other activities planned for the weekend include performances of Godspell by the A-State Department of Theatre, a weekend baseball series with Sun Belt Conference foe UT-Arlington, and the A-State Department of Art + Design’s Second Saturday workshop.
