A-State Trombone Choir Will Present Concert, Nov. 11

JONESBORO – The Department of Music at Arkansas State University will present the A-State Trombone Choir in concert on Monday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center, Riceland Hall.  The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Neale Bartee, professor of music, with guest graduate conductor Daniel Harrelson.  This concert is free and open to the public.

Selections to be performed include “Ecce veniet dies illa” by Giovanni Palestrina and edited by Stephen Gryc; “Alleluia from Cantata No. 142” by Johann Sebastian Bach and arranged by Sy Brandon; “Die Ehre Gottes aus der Natur” by Ludwig van Beethoven and arranged by Brian Mahany; “Salvation is Created” by Pavel Tschnesnokov and arranged by Charles De Paolo; “Canzona for 8 Trombones” by Walter S. Hartley; “Black Coffee” arranged by Dave Wheeler; “Old Devil Moon” arranged by Ken Tiffany; “After the Dance” arranged by Tony Streible; and “Champions Rock” arranged by Neale Bartee.
