Agreement Signed with Vietnamese University
JONESBORO – Arkansas State University has begun a cooperative agreement with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, a public institution located in Vietnam.
A-State Chancellor Tim Hudson was joined by two individuals who represent the university to a campus signing ceremony -- Dr. Nguyen Van Thu, president, and Dr. Dong Van Huong, vice president.
They signed English and Vietnamese versions of the documents, including a proposal for the Ministry of Education and Training in Vietnam and the Agreement on Academic Program with A-State.
The agreement with A-State is a joint bachelor degree for civil, electrical and mechanical engineering. These degree programs will be offered in full at UTH with the students also having the option to transfer to A-State to finish their degree.
