Animaniacs in Concert at Fowler Center

JONESBORO – Three decades after the release of the animated series by the same name, “Animaniacs” will take the stage of Fowler Center on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m.Fans of the beloved Warner Brothers series will get up close and personal with original voice actor Rob Paulson and Emmy Award-winning composer Randy Rogel, who created many of the memorable songs from the show.Together, they bring the stage to life with comedy, animation, and an unforgettable playlist of “Animaniacs” hits.

“The ‘Animaniacs’ in concert has something for everyone in the family,” said Dallas Martinez, director of Fowler Center. “There’s music, laughs, childhood memories and unbelievable performances from the actors who voiced this beloved series here in Jonesboro. Kids and adults will have a great time.”

In addition to the concert, Paulson and Rogel will share anecdotes and secrets from the many years of making the series. The event will feature more than 20 of the most popular songs from the show, including “Yakko’s World” and “I’m Mad.”Fans will hear an updated version of the globe-trotting song, “Yakko’s World,” featuring newly christened countries as they have come to be.

With more than 2,000 half-hours of animation credits under his “Yakko” buckle, Paulsen’s versatility shines in his starring roles as the voices of Yakko Warner, Pinky and Dr. Scratch ‘n’ Sniff.Rogel is a three-time Emmy Award-winner, who began as an original writer on Batman: The Animated Series, before joining the creative team of “Animaniacs,” writing most of the songs and many of the scripts.

“Animaniacs” in concert, based on the animated series by the same name, aired from 1992 until 1998. The iconic animated series garnered two Emmy Awards, multiple Daytime Emmy Awards, and a Peabody Award, and was produced by some of the most creative minds in animation and television.

All seating is reserved. Individual tickets are $32 and $22.
