Arkansas Bank Commissioner to Deliver Keynote at ASBTDC Lenders Conference
JONESBORO — Candace Franks, Arkansas Bank Commissioner, will deliver the keynote address followed up by Roby Brock, the chief executive officer of Talk Business, at the third annual Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) Lenders Conference, Wednesday, April 13, in the Woodard McAlister Family Club at Centennial Bank Stadium on the Arkansas State University campus.
In addition to conference activities, attendees will tour the new Red Wolf facilities.
Franks has been with the Arkansas State Bank Department for 36 years and has served as commissioner since 2007. She is the first woman to serve in a leadership capacity of the state regulatory agency. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 1974 at A-State, followed by a master’s degree in 1976.
The McAdams-Frierson Chair of Bank Management, Arkansas Capitol Corporation Group and the Federal Reserve Bank support the conference.
