Arkansas State Announces Tuesday, Feb. 17, Closing
JONESBORO – Due to minimal thawing Monday and resulting unsafe travel conditions, Arkansas State University will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 17. This includes the main campus at Jonesboro and the Paragould center.
For the convenience of students and faculty:
- Acansa Dining Hall in the Reng Student Union will open at 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- The Dean B. Ellis Library will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., with limited staffing.
- Red WOLF Center will be open for recreational activities from noon until 5 p.m.
- Tuesday's deadline to drop session one courses will be pushed back the same number of days A-State is closed.
The Testing Center also will remain closed Tuesday.
The university reminds students to monitor their official Arkansas State student email account for information regarding classes, as explained in an announcement from Provost Lynita Cooksey.
