Arkansas State’s SBTDC Names Siler To Staff
JONESBORO, Ark. — The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) welcomes a new face to the team. Abbi Siler has been named as the new training specialist and business consultant.
Siler returns to Jonesboro after spending the past few years on the Outer Banks of North Carolina as marketing director for a national adventure retail outfitter. She brings a new set of skills and marketing expertise to the SBTDC along with a passion for technology, entrepreneurship and marketing. She will be coordinating the many small business courses hosted by the SBTDC across the region.
After earning her undergraduate degree at Williams Baptist College, she spent the last six years developing as one of the top young leaders in the marketing industry. Siler’s knowledge of emerging media and public relations in the tourism and hospitality industry will add to the diverse courses offered through the SBTDC.
“Abbi is well known across the state for her efforts in growing the start-up community and teaching businesses and non-profits about social media, marketing and technology,” said Laura Miller, SBTDC director. “We are thrilled to have Abbi join the SBTDC staff. The knowledge and expertise she brings to the center will greatly benefit the business owners and entrepreneurs throughout our territory.”
