ARKANSAS STATE UPDATE: Dean B. Library Will Remain Closed Sunday
JONESBORO – The Dean B. Ellis Library at Arkansas State University is closed for Sunday due to continuing winter weather conditions.
“Student safety is the prime concern,” library director Jeff Bailey said. “All the library’s online resources are still available for those continuing to prepare for final exams.”
Arkansas State closed Friday due to the freezing rain and sleet, forcing the rescheduling of final exams set for Dec. 6 to Wednesday, Dec. 11.
In addition to the closure of the library, the ITS computer lab located inside the library is closed. Bradbury Gallery in the Fowler Center is also closed for Sunday.
Residence halls and dining services continue for on-campus residents throughout the winter weather event. Acansa Dining Hall is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
As of 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, the touring event, The Story, was still scheduled at the Convocation Center at 7:00 p.m. Sunday night.
