ASBTDC Hosts Startup Summit Classes in April for Future Entrepreneurs
JONESBORO – Those interested in starting or growing a small business in Northeast Arkansas have three opportunities in April to join a Startup Summit session.
The events are hosted by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC), located on the campus of Arkansas State University.These sessions are opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.On Tuesday, April 2, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Robert Bahn and Rheanna Branscum, business consultants with ASBTDC, will lead a Startup Summit in Paragould at The Generating Innovative Network. This is located at 200-212 North Pruett St. Food at this event is sponsored by Simmons Bank.
On Tuesday, April 9, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Bahn and Branscum will lead a Startup Summit at Osceola/South Mississippi County Chamber of Commerce, located at 116 North Maple St.
On Tuesday, April 16, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, and Branscum will lead a Startup Summit in Pocahontas. The event will be in room 103 of the Corporate and Community Education/Adult Education Complex at Black River Technical College, at 1410 Highway 304 East. Food at this event is sponsored by RiverBank.
These in-person events are made possible with co-sponsorships from FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority, East Arkansas Planning and Development District, First Security Bank, and Simmons Bank.
