ASBTDC to Help With Free Government Contracting Seminars
JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University has partnered with the Arkansas Procurement Assistance Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, and SCORE (business mentor organization) to offer a pair of free seminars providing information on doing business with the government.
Both seminars are Thursday, Sept. 14, with the “Doing Business with the Government” seminar from 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The “Doing Business with Arkansas State University” seminar is from 1-2 p.m. The seminars are free but online pre-registration is required. The seminar will provide small businesses with insight into the different types of governmental contract possibilities and required certifications. It will be of special benefit to those companies that have no experience in government contracting or are relatively new to the process.
The additional seminar is for small businesses specifically interested in doing business with Arkansas State University.
