ASBTDC to Host QuickBooks Online Training Sessions
JONESBORO – Small business owners have a couple of opportunities to jumpstart accounting needs by attending QuickBooks Online training sessions at Arkansas State University.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) will have four total seminars for entrepreneurs and small business owners, Tuesday, June 6, and Thursday, June 8, in the Delta Center for Economic Development, 319 University Loop Circle.
Event fees are $75 per class, and a certified personal accountant teaches each course.
“QuickBooks for Beginners” is a class that allows online users to start up business accounting needs. This session, June 6, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., familiarizes the user in preparing QuickBooks Online, including the set up process for lists, customers, vendors, assets and liabilities.
Following from 1-4 p.m. is “QuickBooks Day-to-Day Basics” that includes invoicing, receiving payments, bills, handling sales tax and more.
The next two seminars begin June 8 with “QuickBooks Beyond the Basics” running from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The session will provide information on preparing reports, customizing forms, working with inventory, jobs, estimates and progress invoices.
“QuickBooks Payroll” follows from 1-4 p.m. This popular online accounting program teaches how to obtain and apply necessary information that covers the payroll module in depth.
