ASBTDC to Offer Free Consulting Sessions in August
JONESBORO – Helping future entrepreneurs realize their dreams of owning a business, the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer four opportunities in August.
ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.
Consulting sessions offer opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. Spots for consultations are limited.
Events will be held as follows:
— Tuesday, Aug. 6, Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until noon at M.B. Ainley Community Center in Corning, located at 538 East Elm Street.
— Wednesday, Aug. 7, an online session “20 Ways to Market Your Small Business,” will be held from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. featuring Melissa Forziat, a professional marketing speaker.
— Tuesday, Aug. 20, Miller will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Paragould at the Generating Innovative Network, which is located at 200-212 North Pruett St.
— Tuesday, Aug. 27, an online coffee chat will be led from 9 until 10:30 a.m. by Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant and Clint Vogus, instructor of management and author of “The Right Recipe for Entrepreneurial Success.”
