ASU Museum Celebrates 'Through a Child’s Eyes' & NANODays
JONESBORO – Arkansas State University Museum will present "Through a Child’s Eyes" and NanoDays on Sunday, April 3, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Through a Child’s Eyes (TACE) is a juried art show which celebrates works of art created by children aged four through grade eight.
First place, second place, and third place ribbons will be awarded by judges to each grade level and an overall winner will receive the coveted Charlott Jones Best in Show Award, which is named in honor of a previous museum director.
In addition, ASU Museum’s Acquisition Committee will select some art pieces for $50 purchase from young artists who have made their works eligible.
After enjoying TACE, guests may enter the main gallery for hands-on NanoDays activities, which invite visitors to investigate wondrous mysteries found at the nanoscale.
This afternoon of art and science has been designed with the visitor in mind. NanoDays is made possible in part by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Everyone is invited and admission is free.
