ASU SBTDC, Batesville Chamber of Commerce team to offer Professional E-Mail Marketing workshop May 8
JONESBORO, Ark. — Arkansas State University’s Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming together to host a professional e-mail marketing workshop Wednesday, May 8. The workshop will be at the Batesville Chamber of Commerce office, 409 Vine Street, from 1-4 p.m.
“Inbox Impact: Professional E-mail Marketing Tools” will be conducted by Herb Lawrence, ASU SBTDC director.
“E-mail marketing is an amazingly cost-effective way to build relationships that drive business success,” said Lawrence. “In today’s challenging economic times, this cost advantage makes e-mail marketing a very powerful tool for building any business or organization. But, like anything it has to be done the right way.”
In this three-hour seminar, Lawrence will discuss how to effectively develop a professional e-mail marketing campaign that allows businesses to target the customers they want to reach, get their e-mails opened, grow a subscriber list, and use Constant Contact software to create professional-looking e-mail campaigns that will have the most impact on the customer’s inbox. No technical expertise is needed. Seating is limited to 15 attendees.
Registration is $35 per person ($25 for Chamber and Main Street Batesville members, $20 for University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, faculty, staff and students). For more information or to register, contact the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce administrative assistant, Mandi Curtwright (870) 793-2378 or e-mail officemanager@mybatesville.org.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Batesville, Citizens Bank, First Community Bank, First National Banking Company, Liberty Bank of Arkansas, and Merchant and Planters Bank.
