ASU SBTDC, Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce to present website marketing and design workshop Sept. 18
JONESBORO, Ark. — The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a workshop entitled, “Website Planning and Design for Small Businesses,” Tuesday, Sept.18, at the Donald W. Reynolds Baxter County Library in Mountain Home, 300 Library Hill.
Steven Trotter with Pleth LLC will conduct the seminar from 1-4 p.m. He will help attendees explore strategies, techniques, technologies and best practices needed to turn websites into effective business marketing tools.
“Whether you are planning to create your own website or hire someone to do it for you, you need to know some key fundamentals,” said Herb Lawrence, ASU SBTDC director. “Attendees will also learn how to include their social media marketing efforts such as Facebook, Twitter, and blogs into their website for synergy.”
Registration is $35 per person ($25 for Mountain Home area chamber and Norfork chamber members, $20 for ASU-Mountain Home faculty, staff and students).
