Creative Media Production to Offer Certifications

JONESBORO – The Creative Media Production program at Arkansas State University is now offering certifications in corporate media, media ministry, graphic communication and sports production.
The certification program is designed for aspiring and current practitioners looking to earn credentials and improve skills. Certification courses focus on the skills and knowledge needed for today’s workplace. Students can earn a certificate with only 12 hours of coursework.
Below is a brief description of each certification:
- Corporate Media — Students and current employees in strategic communication, marketing, advertising and public relations organizations learn corporate media production skills to effectively create media messages and content for the business workplace.
- Media Ministry — Media production skills are vital to churches striving to meet the demands of the ever-expanding world of mediated communication. A media ministry certification provides the basic video production skills to enhance the ministry of the church in the 21st century.
- Sports Production — Sports production is a challenging profession without prior experience. A sports production certificate is an extremely beneficial program for people without a sports media degree or lack experience in sports production, but need knowledge of basic production as well as sports production.
- Graphic Communication — Businesses have the need for employees with graphic communication skills who can create effective business communication. A graphic communication certificate provides students with the basic skills to create eye-catching and effective graphic content.
