Department of Music to present Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble Concert, Oct. 28
JONESBORO – The Department of Music at Arkansas State University will present the A-State Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble in concert on Monday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center, Riceland Hall.
The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Ed Owen, associate professor of music. Admission is free, and the public is welcome to attend.
The program for the evening will include “Light Cavalry Overture” by Franz von Suppe, “Ave Maria” by Tomas Luis de Vittoria, “Fantasy” by Ralph Martino, “3 Profiles” by Anthony Plog, and “Finlandia” by Jean Sibelius.
Members of the ensemble include Sterling Dunham, Cody Hutchison and Andrew Jones of Jonesboro, Jenni McDonough of Cabot, Chandler Weber of Sherwood, LaDawna Williams of North Little Rock, Eric Barnet of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Blake Craft of Corning, Cody Duncan of Harrisburg, Jon Edmonds of Batesville, Jacob Van Aalsburg of Hardy, and Charles Willis of Fort Smith.
