Favorite A-State Photographs Now Available for Purchase
JONESBORO – Just in time for holiday giving and in response to requests from alumni, students and Red Wolves fans, Arkansas State University now has an online site for purchasing photographs of favorite campus scenes and special memories.
Interested individuals may browse a collection of photographs from recent campus events and activities taken by university photographer Andrew Ferguson and other contracted photographers.
High quality photographic prints are available for purchase through the A-State Photo Store, photos.AState.edu. Standard print sizes from 4x6 to 20x30 are available, along with special sizes by request.
"From bid day to ROTC commissioning, from athletics action to Homecoming highlights, the demand for special moments at A-State is growing fast," explained Todd Clark, director of A-State's Department of Digital Creative Media. "With the university's emphasis on sharing photos through social media, people are more aware than ever about what images we have available. Now, through the A-State Photo Store, they can order prints suitable for framing, memory books and for gifts."
Shoppers may browse available images at the online Photo Store then place their order with a credit card. High quality prints are made in a professional photo lab and shipped directly to the purchaser. The university will remit sales tax according to state laws.
Proceeds from photo sales will be used to further enhance photographic services in several ways, such as hiring interns, purchasing additional equipment and covering other operational expenses.
Other than prints, any other use of A-State's digital images must be licensed through the university and they cannot be used for commercial or promotional use without permission.
