First National Bank Arena Welcomes Multiple Concerts this Fall
JONESBORO – As the fall semester approaches at Arkansas State University, a variety of events are set to take place on campus and throughout the Jonesboro community.
First National Bank Arena, located at 217 Olympic Drive, will host several major concerts this fall, providing students with the opportunity to experience high-quality live music without having to leave campus.
“We’re incredibly excited to host four major concerts at First National Bank Arena this fall. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring high-energy, live entertainment to Northeast Arkansas and continue building on the momentum of our previous shows,” said Mac Beaverstock, marketing director at First National Bank Arena.
The concert season will kick off with Dwight Yoakam performing at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, featuring special guests Ashley McBryde and Walker Montgomery.
At 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, Whiskey Myers will present the “What We Were Born To Do Tour,” with special guests Bayker Blankenship and Kashus Culpepper.
Jon Pardi’s Honky Tonk Hollywood Tour will take the stage at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, with special guests Jake Worthington and Colby Acuff.
Concluding the fall concert season, the arena will host some of Christian music's most popular artists: TobyMac, MercyMe and Matthew West at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2.
“These artists represent a diverse range of styles that we believe will truly resonate with not only the community but also with the students, and we hope these events become an integral part of their college experience, creating lasting memories,” Beaverstock said.
Beaverstock adds they seek ways to connect with the campus community.
“We’re always exploring ways to create accessible and engaging experiences for the A-State community,” he said.
