Graduating Students, Note Regalia Pick-Up Times and Parking Procedures
JONESBORO — With the Summer Commencement ceremony coming up Friday, Aug. 13, graduating students and guests attending the event need to be aware of a major change with the pick-up location for regalia and the latest procedures for parking.
Caps and gowns will be distributed at Textbook Brokers, now the university’s official bookstore, at 2106 East Johnson Ave. in Jonesboro. The store is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Friday. Pick-up is also available 4-5:30 p.m. Friday at the Centennial Bank Stadium team shop in the main tower.
In preparation for Friday, the Registrar’s Office has emailed these and other important details directly to graduating students. A copy of the email is available online, as well as the parking map.
Gates at Centennial Bank Stadium open at 5 p.m. for families to locate seats, and seating is available on both the east and west concourses. Graduates are reminded that they will check in at the Student Activity Center starting at 5 p.m. Everyone is reminded of Friday afternoon traffic in Jonesboro and to make sure to arrive in time to locate parking.
Summer Commencement begins at 7 p.m., and it may be livestreamed.
