Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum to Host Poetry Writing Workshop
PIGGOTT - Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center in Piggott will host a poetry workshop featuring Dr. Rob Lamm, associate professor of English at Arkansas State University.
The poetry workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. Registration will be $35 per person, which includes lunch.
The workshop will be open to the public, but seating is limited. This will be the first time the museum will hold this poetry workshop.
"Unlock your inner poet at the museum's poetry-writing workshop. We invite you to join us," said Shannon Williams, director of the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center.
Those in attendance will experience the basics of poetic form, using old fashioned rhyme and rhythm in the 21st century with Lamm.
