Jade Collins Crowned Miss Arkansas State University 2015

Jade Collins of Hector, Ark. was crowned as the new Miss Arkansas State University at the conclusion of the 41th annual pageant, which is presented each year by the Delta Theta chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

With a stated platform of "Live the United Way", she presented a vocal arrangement of "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You" during the talent segment of the competition.

Jade has a variety of honors including Dean's List and Honors College Director's List. She is involved in several campus organizations, such as the campus chapter of United Way, Chi Omega, Honors College and Chancellor Ambassadors, Student Government Association and is the president of Volunteer A-State.

The Pi Kappa Alpha chapter at A-State began sponsoring the Miss Arkansas State University Pageant in 1975.

The pageant is an official Miss America Preliminary, so Jade will begin preparations immediately to compete in the upcoming Miss Arkansas Pageant.

Among her pageant prizes, she will receive a $5,000 scholarship from Arkansas State University.

The pageant finalists included First Runner-up - Destiny Quinn of Jonesboro, Second Runner-up - Jennifer Ulloa of Jonesboro, Third Runner-up - Ryann Collins of Jacksonville, Ark. and Fourth Runner-up - Ashley Roacho of Walnut Ridge, Ark.
