KASU and Embassy Suites to Host Listener Appreciation Event
JONESBORO - KASU 91.9 FM, the public media service of Arkansas State University, and Embassy Suites and Red Wolf Convention Center will host “KASU Appreciation Night at Embassy Suites,” located at 223 Red Wolf Blvd., from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21.
The festivities will be held in the Embassy Suites lobby bar and lounge. KASU will host a trivia night, beginning at 6 p.m., where attendees can participate for prizes.
“KASU does so much for the community and is an important public service. We are excited to partner with them, said Doug Foreman, general manager of Embassy Suites.
“KASU is experiencing unprecedented times, and we are in uncharted waters right now. With the continued support of our listener members, underwriters, promotional partners, and A-State, we can continue to provide the level of service everyone has come to expect from us. This event is a thank you to all who make, and will continue to make, KASU strong,” said Mark Smith, KASU station manager.
The event is to honor supporters and listeners of KASU. Admission is free and the public is invited.
“We are proud to partner with Embassy Suites and appreciate their support,” Smith added.
Embassy Suites will offer a specialty beverage, with $1 of each purchase being donated to KASU.
KASU is Arkansas’ oldest non-commercial public radio station, operating since 1957.
