Marketing & Communications Staff Wins 3 CASE Awards
JONESBORO -- Arkansas State University’s Office of Marketing and Communications won three awards, including a gold and two bronze, in the annual competition conducted by District IV of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
A-State’s entries competed with those from CASE-member universities and colleges in Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, the five states comprising District IV.
The winning projects were produced by staff members in Marketing and Communications, which is directed by Associate Vice Chancellor Bill Smith.
The Publications and Creative Services (PCS) team includes Mark Reeves, director, Heath Kelly, assistant director, and Mary Melton, associate director, and Calli Perkins, graphic designer.
"The group of professionals we have at Arkansas State have continued to earn top awards year after year, but these honors are particularly special because they are judged by our peers within the higher education field," Smith stated. "The honors reflect the overall commitment from every area of our office. It’s a privilege to serve with such dedicated and talented professionals."
Arkansas State won the gold award in the publication design series category, in recognition of projects produced for A-State Admissions.
One bronze award was in the viewbook design category for A-State's admissions viewbook, "We Will Take You There." The viewbook is the primary recruitment publication for distribution to prospective students.
The second bronze award was in the category of "design improvement" for the team's work on the viewbook.
