Nancy Young Selected to Serve as Dean's Ambassador
JONESBORO – Nancy Young was named Dean’s Ambassador for the College of Liberal Arts and Communication at Arkansas State University, Dean Carl Cates announced this week.
Young, an English instructor at Arkansas State, will serve as the Dean’s Ambassador through May 31.
“I am very pleased to have the knowledge and help of such a well-established and valued community member,” Cates said. “I am grateful she is willing to serve in the new role.”
Young will assist Cates with the greater Jonesboro community, fostering increased outreach from the College of Liberal Arts and Communication.
A graduate of A-State with both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Young has been highly involved in professional service to the Department of English, Philosophy and World Languages. She was an instructor at Western Kentucky University before joining Arkansas State's faculty.
