Online MBA Program Enjoys National Ranking
JONESBORO — For the second consecutive year, Arkansas State University’s Master of Business Administration online program has received a top 10 ranking nationally by U.S. News & World Report for 2017.
"I am so proud that our online MBA program has been ranked in the Top 10 in the entire country by U.S News and World Report,” stated Dr. Shane Hunt, dean of the College of Business. “This is a testament to the leadership of Dr. Bill Roe (director of graduate business programs), the dedication of our faculty and staff and the commitment we all have in the A-State College of Business to provide our students with a world class educational experience."
A-State is tied with Auburn University for the 10th spot, and is in strong company with the other universities listed in the elite category.
The top 10 for 2017 includes:
1. Temple University
2. Carnegie Mellon University
3. Indiana University
4. University of North Carolina
5. Arizona State University
5. University of Florida
7. University of Texas-Dallas
8. Pennsylvania State University
9. University of Maryland
10. Arkansas State University
10. Auburn University
Arkansas State also ranks high in additional standings for the online program, including first in faculty credentials and training. Student engagement sits at fifth, along with admissions selectivity.
U.S. News & World Report also noted online MBA programs at Arkansas State are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the gold standard of business school accreditation.
Ranking criteria included the evaluation of five factors, including student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology.
