Phillips Community College Chancellor to Speak as Media Professional in Residence
JONESBORO — Dr. Keith Pinchback, chancellor of Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas with campuses in Helena, DeWitt and Stuttgart, will return to Arkansas State University, Wednesday, April 13, through Friday, April 15, as part of the Media Professional In Residence speaker series.
Pinchback assumed his role as leader of Arkansas’s first community college on July 1, 2015. Prior to that, he served as vice chancellor of institutional advancement at Arkansas State University-Beebe since 2001.
A native of Searcy, Pinchback earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism with a public relations emphasis in 1992, and a Master of Business Administration in 2003, both from A-State. He received the Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Arkansas State in 2011.
Before joining Arkansas State-Beebe, he was regional director of sales and marketing for Balanced Care Corp., director of community relations for St. Bernards Behavioral Health Services, marketing director at Helena Rehabilitation Center and sports editor of The Daily World in Helena. He also served as a sergeant and senior airman in the U.S. Air Force.
