SBTDC to team with Independence County to host six-night Tools to Keep Your Business Healthy series
Arkansas State University’s Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), Independence County Economic Development, Inc., Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and area lenders will host a six-night program, Thursday, April 5, from 6-9 p.m., at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville for area businesses to help maximize economic potential.
The “Tools to Keep Your Business Healthy” series is designed as a hands-on program that will help area small businesses find new market opportunities, improve their bottom line and keep their firms financially healthy. As part of a six-night series participants will learn how to create an entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on skills to develop realistic marketing plans, tools to improve market analysis and penetration, easy to use financial management tips, develop realistic budgets, create the right management team for growth and much more.
Through a unique combination of expert speakers, hands-on business plan development with user-friendly business plan software area business owners will learn how to create a realistic business model to move companies forward to the next level of profitability.
The series runs for six consecutive Thursdays. Registration fee is $50 per person but the fee will be fully refunded to those individuals who attend five of the six nights and complete the program.
