Sivakumaran Named Interim VC for Enrollment Management
JONESBORO – Dr. Thilla Sivakumaran was appointed as the Interim Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management (VCEM), Arkansas State University Chancellor Kelly Damphousse announced.
“I appreciate Thilla’s willingness to step in during this interim period,” Damphousse said. “One of his many strengths is the ability to lead complex university operations. We are fortunate that he already has intimate familiarity with the enrollment management division because of his current duties.”
As the Vice Chancellor for Global Engagement and Outreach, Sivakumaran leads A-State’s international student recruiting program and national recruitment efforts for A-State’s large online program. Recently, he led the push to reinstate the university’s winter session, a three-week all-online accelerated semester between the fall and spring semesters. He also oversees A-State’s Campus Queretaro and the A-State University Centers located at community colleges across the state.
A search for a permanent replacement for outgoing VCEM Dr. Bryan Terry will begin in 2021.
