10/05/2015
JONESBORO – Thirteen students from Arkansas State University’s College of Media and Communication received awards in the student division at the 2015 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Prism recognition ceremony last week at Little Rock’s Heifer International. The event marked the 30th anniversary of the prestigious awards.
Representing Arkansas State was Lisa Ball Moskal, strategic communications instructor and adviser for the A-State student chapter of PRSSA. Several A-State students, some with joint entries, attended the banquet.
“I'm excited to see the majority of our awards this year set us apart as leading the effort in ‘non-traditional’ public relations media and integrated publicity efforts/design, including infographic, logo design, PR advertising and interactive/A-V/social media” said Moskal. “I believe this shows we are moving in the right direction with our curriculum efforts in relationship to industry practices and requirements.”
