Sympathy to Family of Dr. Fay Beth Gray, Emeritus Professor
JONESBORO – The Arkansas State University community extends sympathy to the family, friends and former colleagues of Dr. Fay Beth Gray, emeritus professor of business systems, who died Sunday.
The tower of the Dean B. Ellis Library will be lighted scarlet Wednesday, April 5, as a memorial tribute to her and her contributions to A-State.
A Tennessee native, Gray completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at University of Memphis, then earned her Ph.D. at Georgia State University.
She joined the faculty of the Griffin College of Business in 1966 and taught for three years. She returned to the faculty in 1972 and also served as a department chair. She retired in 2000, completing a total of 31 years of service.
