Three Performers Added to Johnny Cash Heritage Festival

JONESBORO — Three performers have joined the talent lineup for this weekend’s virtual Johnny Cash Heritage Festival. The festival gets underway Friday, Oct.15, and runs through Saturday, Oct.16. Sessions remain available on-demand for seven days.  

“The Johnny Cash Heritage Festival is thrilled to add Chelsea Crowell, Terry Kane, and Adia Victoria to the lineup,” said Dr. Adam Long, festival director. “We are sad that due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Cedric Burnside will be unable to participate. However, this trio will be a nice addition.”

Crowell will have an opportunity to sing alongside her mother Rosanne Cash and father Rodney Crowell during the festival that bears her grandfather’s name. Crowell is a writer, musician, advocate, activist and educator, working with various non-profits to organize and mobilize musicians.  She will perform a duet with her husband Terry Kane, a Nashville native who has recorded three records with his band Faux Ferocious.

Adia Victoria is an American singer and songwriter known for her “Gothic blues” musical style.  Currently living in Nashville, she writes poetry in addition to playing and writing music.

The festival is coordinated through Arkansas State University Heritage Sites and licensed through the John R. Cash Revocable Trust.
