University College Recognizes Top Graduates during Convocation of Scholars

JONESBORO – The top 2022-23 graduating students in University College at Arkansas State University were honored during Convocation of Scholars, according to Dr. Jill Simons, dean.
The Chancellor Scholar Award for the highest overall GPA in the college was presented to Abbey Edrington of Paragould, who is completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in interdisciplinary studies.
Shelby Russell of Marianna was recognized as recipient of the Department Scholar Award. She also is completing a BS degree in interdisciplinary studies.
University College offers the interdisciplinary studies major to those seeking flexibility to select a course of study from a wide array of disciplines.
