Winner of First Bodolf Award to be Named at Pack Pride Day
JONESBORO – The Student Activities Board (SAB), in partnership with the Department of Athletics, will conduct its annual A-State Pack Pride Day on Monday, Jan. 23.
Students had an opportunity to nominate students, faculty, staff, families, and organizations for the three annual recognition awards: the Scarlet Bella Award, the Howler Award, and the Alpha Wolf Award. Winners will be announced during A-State's home basketball game with South Alabama Monday evening.
New this year is the Bodolf Award, which will be awarded to the most spirited student organization. A pep rally at 6:30 p.m. will precede the game. The name Bodolf means “wolf leader.”
SAB also is conducting an office decorating contest for faculty and staff to help celebrate Pride Day. Judging will begin Monday at 10 a.m., with winners to be announced during the game.
Students will be tweeting using the hashtag #AStatePPD. For more details about A-State Pack Pride Day, contact the Leadership Center at (870) 972-2055.
