Youth Orchestra to Present Spring Concert, March 12
JONESBORO -- The Arkansas State University Youth Orchestra will present their Spring Concert on Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Riceland Hall of Fowler Center.
The orchestra is conducted by Dr. Guy Harrison, assistant professor of music. This concert is free and open to the public.
The program will include: “Burst!” by Brian Balmages, “Snowflake” by Yukiko Nishimura and “Medieval Wars” by Brian Balmages.
Personnel for the ASU Youth Orchestra include: Malena Ayala, Naomi Clark, Katie Hunter of Harrisburg, Suh Young Choi, Samuel Clark, Jackie Couch, Megan Davidson, Keerthi Harikrishnan, Katie Jackson, Leigh Johnson, Parker Long, Parker McCarthy, Chris Melton, Daniel Miao, Sophie Moore, Isabella Owen, Spencer Rawlings, and Maggie Xu, of Jonesboro; Alexandria Praught, John Praught, Laurabeth Praught, Michelle Praught, and Sarah Praught of Poughkeepsie.
