Biography
Dr. Kelly E. Fish, is Professor of Information Systems & Business Analytics. He teaches courses in global e-commerce, data mining, business applications of AI, corporate information strategy and, international business to undergraduate and graduate students. His thirty years of teaching experience also includes courses in international marketing, business policy, marketing management and, business research.
Professor Fish has participated in faculty study abroad at the University of Antwerp in Belgium and, has taught at the University of Salzburg for Applied Sciences in Austria. He has been a visiting faculty member at the University of Caen in France since 2003. Domestically, he has assisted a number of Arkansas businesses in export development.
Dr. Fish, a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), is currently a NASBITE Fellow and has served as president and on the Board of NASBITE International. He has taught A-State study abroad courses throughout Europe, South America and Asia. Dr. Fish’s research includes application of AI approaches to foreign market screening, the study of success factors and impediments to exporting as well as global leadership traits. He has been working as a volunteer in rural Haiti for the previous 18 years on educational, health and, economic development projects.
