Biography
Dr. Brendon Aitken was born and raised in South Africa. He moved to America in 2009 to pursue his college degree as well as play collegiate rugby at Arkansas State University. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2013 majoring in Exercise Science. In 2016, he attended Graduate School at Arkansas State University where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting since graduation until his recent transition to Academia . Since graduation, He has lived and worked in Baton Rouge, LA as well as in Las Vegas, NV before returning back to Jonesboro, AR. His passion in Physical Therapy lies within teaching and treating all orthopedic and sports medicine patients. He is also currently certified in Functional dry needling. When time allows, he works with the rugby team here at Arkansas State University by providing injury evaluation and treatment for the players. Dr. Aitken has a beautiful wife named Stevie, who is an emergency Veterinarian here in town and they currently have two dogs.
